Robert Ierardi takes you through the four seasons of his childhood, growing up in his “Own Private Hooterville.” A funny look at small-town America in the 1960’s. It’s about believing everything you’re told as a child no matter how surreal these things seem. And how within your own little world your imagination makes it all very real.

“Ierardi is a terrific storyteller … This is a riveting, sad and hilarious tale of suburban, blue-collar life in the ’60s, a world of Rambler station wagons, peanut butter-and-marshmallow fluff sandwiches and parents who remembered the Depression keenly.” – The Lakeville Journal
